We have been working closely with Akzo Nobel over the years and have completed many projects with them to help keep all machines and production lines well maintained. One project we have done with them is the cleaning of their production line conveyors periodically. We do this to try and keep the conveyors well maintained and clean as replacing/ fixing them is very expensive. Each conveyor costs around £12,000 and takes 4 hours to replace, with the 4 hours down time there is also a further £3,000 lost in production each hour so it is critical this is done as efficient as possible. With ice blasting this usually very difficult job becomes easy as we can clean the conveyor in situ to brand new condition meaning they do not need to dismantle and replace as often saving them tons of money.
