Ice Blasting Projects – Case Study
PROJECT DETAILS
We were asked to clean 5 large stainless-steel filters which prior to ice blasting built up so much contaminant they needed replaced each time the filters were taken out which was not cost effective for the business.
The Filters (see picture below) are 100 microns and were completely blocked with a build- up of various paint products. The company we are working with had tried many different chemicals to clean them and nothing had worked enough so that the filers could then be reused.

The results were amazing and the filters were as good as new and not a drop of paint or contaminant was left. We cleaned all 5 filters cheaper than the cost of replacing just 1.
We have been working with this client for several months now and identified several areas where we can save money or improve productivity whilst also being kind to the environment.
